Our client were carrying out the role of principal contractor. We assisted in the planning and coordination of the project regarding Construction Design Management including preparing the construction phase Health and Safety plan. During the duration of this contract, we also implemented and gained accreditation for ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001, this included the supply of documents and conducting the audit.
In particular, we undertook the responsibility of formulating a comprehensive Health and Safety plan tailored to the unique demands of the construction phase. This plan encompassed an exhaustive analysis of potential risks and hazards that could arise during the construction process. By identifying these potential challenges beforehand, we were able to develop proactive strategies to mitigate risks and promote a secure working environment for all individuals involved in the project.
Furthermore, our collaborative efforts extended to addressing the various intricacies of the project’s design, considering factors such as structural integrity, material selection, and architectural coherence. By aligning the design with construction realities, we aimed to enhance the overall efficiency of the project and minimise potential conflicts that could arise between design intent and practical implementation.
Our dedicated involvement in the planning, coordination, and safety considerations exemplified our commitment to ensuring the project’s smooth progress and the well-being of all participants. Through this collaborative endeavour, we worked towards not only meeting but exceeding the project’s objectives, thereby contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-quality construction project.
